Dear Reader,

Exciting news – version 18.0 of CANape is now available! The measurement, calibration, and logging tool now offers full Ethernet support in the vehicle and laboratory. The integrated vMDM is the central search engine for your measurement data on your computer, and the new function library is able to perform calculations during measurement. But that is not all.

New in the Vector portfolio: virtual test driving with DYNA4. Use the physical vehicle and environment simulation for closed-loop system tests of your control functions in the areas of powertrain, chassis and ADAS/AD.

How many of the electronic systems produced today would still work in 37 years' time? We take a look back at the Voyager 1 mission and learn how the same level of reliability can be achieved for software code.

Enjoy reading!

Kind regards,
Your Vector Newsletter Editorial Team
